Editorial priorities
- Help readers understand, calculate, diagnose, compare, or act.
- Explain assumptions, tradeoffs, limitations, and failure modes.
- Prefer practical decision tools over generic advice.
- Keep safety and accuracy ahead of SEO or monetization.
Sources and evidence
Material claims should use sources appropriate to the claim. Primary sources, official documentation, standards, government guidance, and credible technical references are preferred where available.
When reliable sources disagree, the article should explain the disagreement rather than hide it. Important calculations should show inputs, units, assumptions, and practical limitations.
Product coverage
Product coverage should begin with the reader’s problem and selection criteria. We do not invent testing, ownership, measurements, prices, ratings, quotations, credentials, or personal experience. If a recommendation is based on specifications and source review rather than hands-on testing, the article should make that basis clear.
Independent review
Before release, public guides are reviewed separately for claim support, reader usefulness, SEO integrity, formatting, image provenance, and unresolved safety or accuracy blockers. A score cannot override a critical or high-severity blocker.
Artificial intelligence
AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, editing, calculations, code, or visual production. AI output is not accepted as evidence by itself. Public claims, numbers, links, images, and disclosures remain subject to human-directed standards, source checks, and quality review.
Images and visuals
Visuals should improve understanding or decision quality. Locally controlled visuals require rights or provenance records and delivery checks. Product images from marketplaces must use approved methods and may not be downloaded and republished arbitrarily.
Corrections and updates
